A man was dead Monday afternoon after San Diego Police officers opened fire. The man, who was armed with a rifle and a handgun, led officers on a high-speed chase from San Ysidro to Golden Hill when he took off in his truck after he fired a round into the ground during an altercation with a bicyclist.
