The footage was provided to WFAA from the Richardson Police Department. 37-year-old Emmanuel Blanco Cruz was killed by a Richardson police officer on Aug. 25, 2024, following a domestic violence call. The video shows Cruz was wielding a knife at the time of the shooting. The female officer shot Cruz once. Later, Cruz was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
