Description
Recently released bodycam footage shows New York police save six puppies on June 15, 2024.
A woman was reportedly trying to sell the puppies on a street corner in Queens. The puppies were stuffed into a backpack on a very hot day, police say.
Officers from the New York Police Department gave the puppies water and took the dogs from the woman. She was reportedly arrested and is facing animal cruelty charges.
The puppies are recovering and workers with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is now caring for them, according to police.
