A man was shot to death by his pregnant wife's uncle late Tuesday night after they had just left a hospital, according to the Houston Police Department. The shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Kelley Street near Lockwood Drive in northeast Houston. The man and his wife were living at a nearby homeless shelter when she started feeling some pains. The woman's uncle picked her and the husband up and took them to a hospital. Police said the woman's family reportedly did not want the two to be together, despite her being pregnant and them having four children together. At the hospital, the woman's grandmother also showed up. HPD said the man started getting nervous and thought her family was going to call the police on him believing he may have active warrants.
