The Vatican says Pope Francis is stable and hasn't had any other episodes of respiratory failure. He has been getting high-flow oxygen through tubes in his nose and the Vatican said he will be receiving other non-invasive, mechanical ventilation. The Vatican also said he's able to sit up in a chair and took part in the Ash Wednesday rituals in the private suite where he's being treated.
