On Monday, during the City of Houston's annual "March on Crime" news conference, Mayor John Whitmire talked about youth violence. "We are in a society right now where an old-time fist fight leads to a shootout," Whitmire said. He went on to express amazement at how easy it is for young people to get their hands on guns.
