Liberty County Sheriff's Office officials give an update after inmates took over part of the county jail on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025. According to Liberty County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Oscar Martinez, initially, the inmates were listening and following instructions, but after about 30 minutes, they started getting agitated.
