An emergency town hall Friday gave University of Houston students the opportunity to talk with state leaders about their concerns. State Representative Jolanda Jones hosted the meeting with off campus with students following a series of violent crimes on campus and mounting student concerns about safety. All this comes shortly after Eric Brown, the man accused of sexually assaulting a student on-campus on February 7, 2025, made his first court appearance.
