Texas A&M will honor Baytown native, Britney Romero in their Silver Taps Ceremony.
The 18-year-old fell from a third-floor balcony of her dorm. The medical examiner and campus police are still investigating her death.
The Silver Taps Ceremony is a monthly Aggie tradition to honor any students who have died.
During the ceremony, the campus is dark and three rifle volley shots are fired before a rendition of “Taps” is played.
