Dozens rallied in downtown Houston Sunday afternoon outside city hall. The demonstrators gathered during an event dubbed “Bring them home.” They were calling for the release of the more than 200 people taken hostage by Hamas during its October 7 attack on Israel. The rally was largely peaceful, despite a little back and forth between two supporters of Palestine who showed up. Asaf Glaich was there draped in blue and white, standing in solidarity with Israel in downtown Houston. “We’re protesting to bring our family and friends home,” Glaich said.
