Description
March 10 on The Story: Formerly the Lolo Pass Hotel and Hostel, a new addiction recovery facility in Portland's Central Eastside plans to open within the next few months. Central City Concern will operate the facility, known as 16 x Burnside Recovery Center. It fills a much-needed niche in the area's continuum of care for people struggling with addiction — offering a place to stay for people who have already sought treatment, but need a place to stabilize so that they can get into housing. However, some neighbors aren't thrilled with how quickly the project has been moving forward.
