One person was taken to the hospital after a stabbing inside the Ascend apartment building on Vancouver Avenue Wednesday morning, according to Portland police said. The stabbing involved two people who are either currently in or were previously in a relationship, police said. The person who was stabbed doesn't appear to have serious injuries. The suspect left before officers arrived and wasn't immediately found.
