Feb. 7 on The Story: The state agency that trains police officers in Washington state is considering a ban on the Sig Sauer P320, after reports of shootings in which officers did not pull the trigger. Right now the handgun's use has been paused at training facilities — but the gun manufacturer says that it's simply impossible for these guns to go off without pulling the trigger. A few dozen lawsuits beg to differ. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies in Washington using the P320 as a service weapon aren't saying anything at all.
