Feb. 5 on The Story: Since January, Multnomah County has been distributing cold weather gear to homeless people to help them get through the winter. But John DiLorenzo, the attorney who represented clients with disabilities in a lawsuit against the city of Portland under the Americans with Disabilities Act, claims that the county's actions represent a violation of the city's 2023 settlement agreement in that case. He wants Portland to ditch its homelessness partnership with the county in order to put the issue to rest.
