Description
A man died in Southwest Portland due to hypothermia over the weekend, Multnomah County reported Tuesday. This comes as Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson declared a state of emergency for the county, starting 6 p.m. Tuesday and running through 6 p.m. Wednesday. This allows emergency shelters in the county to open, and around 360 beds will be available Tuesday night in Multnomah County.
