Tonight we spoke with NBC reporter Jennifer Bjorklund live near the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. Bjorklund said the winds have been so strong around LA that fires which would usually struggle to climb downhill were instead driven down into beachfront communities north of the city. Those winds have complicated matters for firefighters as well, who face active flames and streaming smoke.
