Dec. 17 on The Story: By popular demand, Portland police made a concerted effort last year to crack down on what was then the heart of the fentanyl trade in Portland, centered on downtown. But that pressure from law enforcement hasn't so much caused drug activity to die down as it has encouraged a westward migration. These days, the nightly pop-up fentanyl bazaar is making its way into the Goose Hollow neighborhood west of I-405. Business owners and residents alike are not pleased, and they're being forced to adjust to this new reality in whatever way they can.
