The Mountainside Mavericks clinched their first-ever Metro League title with a 41-0 win on the road over the Beaverton Beavers on Nov. 1, 2024. The game also marked Bob Boyer's final game as head coach of the Beavers. Aside from his time in college, Boyer has been part of the Beaverton program for 45 years.
