Oct. 9 on The Story: Yesterday, we waded into the race for Oregon's 5th Congressional District by fact-checking a political attack ad against Democrat Janelle Bynum, a state representative attempting to oust Republican Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer from the seat. The race is considered a toss-up and is among the most competitive in the country, so there are no shortage of ads flying around — tonight, we're looking at one targeting Chavez-DeRemer.
