Aug. 20 on The Story: This week, one of Portland's most notorious taggers received his sentence in a Multnomah County courtroom. Jerry Mijangos, known by his tag "KASR," was well-known to officers with the Portland Police Bureau thanks to the hundreds of marks he made around town. And while he's now being sent to prison with a 30-month sentence, it's been a long and frustrating road for the officers who've been investigating him since 2021 — because this wasn't his first arrest, prosecution or sentencing.
