Several people told police a man pointed a gun at them early Monday morning on Northeast Andresen Road. Officers found the man walking and he didn't listen to police commands to stop, Vancouver police said. The man pointed a gun at them and four officers fired shots, hitting the man. He was taken to a hospital where he died. A police K-9 was shot in the tail and underwent surgery.
