May 29 on The Story: As the final days tick down on the school year, three students of Rockville Elementary rule the school. Not only are they the only students on campus, they're all related to one another. The Jordan Valley School District serves a small ranching community in eastern Oregon, just minutes from the Idaho border, and Rockville is the only elementary school within a 40-minute drive. All three students are the third generation of their family to attend the school. Next year they'll welcome one more member of the family to school — but when she leaves, that's curtains for Rockville Elementary.
