May 28 on The Story: You've no doubt heard that 2024 is a big election year — perhaps you're already tired of hearing about it. But since the office of U.S. president is on the line, there's no escaping how much the months until November will revolve around it. Most everyone agrees that we want our elections secure and going off without a hitch, and FBI Special Agent in Charge Doug Olson has a key role in ensuring that happens. Olson is new to the top cop position in Oregon, but he's not new to the state, having overseen Salem previously.
