Chair Jessica Vega Pederson took hardline stance on AMR and its inability to staff ambulances, not budging on the county's requirement that ambulances be staffed by two paramedics. But a backlash seems to be growing, with local fire officials and elected leaders advocating for a change to AMR's preferred one-paramedic, one-EMT model.
