Volunteers with the University of Portland Alumni partners came together with family and friends to help deliver around 500 boxes of food to organizations and families in North Portland. The deliveries will go to Lifeworks, CityTeam, James John Elementary and Holy Redeemer Food Pantry. This is the first year University of Portland has partnered with Jesuit Alumni Food Drive, which also includes Jesuit and Central Catholic students. In total, the Jesuit Alumni Food Drive will donate around 3,500 boxes of food to organizations around the Portland area. The University hopes to expand their efforts in raising and donating food to the North Portland community in the coming years.
