The Central Catholic Rams are Oregon's 6A state football champions after a 49-21 win over the Tualatin Timberwolves in the championship game at Hillsboro Stadium on Nov. 24, 2023. The game started as a back-and-forth affair, but Tualatin lost both quarterback Nolan Keeney and wide receiver/linebacker Jayden Fortier to injuries and the Timberwolves' offense never really recovered. Meantime, the Central Catholic offense couldn't be stopped. The Rams racked up 639 yards of offense, a record in a state championship game.
