When threats come in, it's the FBI's job to investigate whether they're credible. We sat down with the FBI's Special Agent in Charge for the Portland field office, Kieran Ramsey, to talk about what they're doing to keep Oregonians safe — and to get his insights into the ongoing hostage situation involving captive Israelis and some Americans. Before taking on the top role at the FBI in Oregon, Ramsey headed a federal think tank in Washington, D.C. that was focused on that very thing, so he has experience with what the U.S. government is doing right now to see those captives returned.
