Description
Instead of a sobering center for first responders to drop off people in a drug or mental health crisis, the county is moving to build up after-care options. Chair Jessica Vega Pederson wants the county to fund places for people who have been hospitalized or entered inpatient drug treatment to go for further recovery — but other commissioners aren't on board.
