After an outpouring of public support for the widow of Maurice "Mo" Stadeli, Salem officials said they'd withdraw their appeal to the Oregon Supreme Court. The city originally lost its case before the Oregon Court of Appeals, which allowed Tina Stadeli to keep her benefits.
