Description
Aug. 31 on The Story: Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and city Commissioner Rene Gonzalez plan to reintroduce an open air drug use ban to city council sometime this week. Earlier this summer they had taken aim at this issue with a bill that would punish fentanyl possession above small amounts, but it was almost instantly nixed. Why? Mainly because of a new state law signed by Governor Tina Kotek that had to do with fentanyl possession. A law that says nothing about open air drug use in public places. So how is this new ordinance different? We'll show you, tonight on The Story.
