Steve Marks, then executive director of the OLCC, resigned after being publicly implicated in the "Bourbongate" scandal in February. But by all accounts he was asked to step down by Gov. Tina Kotek in late January. He claims it's because the owners of the similarly scandal-prone cannabis company La Mota wanted him gone.
