The man robbed Player's Pub PDX on Northeast 82nd avenue early Wednesday, then took a woman hostage and stole her car, police said. About two hours later, the woman called dispatch to report the incident and said the suspect dropped her off in Gresham. After a police search and chase, the suspect was located and taken to the hospital for what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound that's life-threatening, police said.
