Over the weekend we saw multiple fires break out amid warm, dry conditions. Things are only going to get hotter this week, but winds may be more favorable in spots — at least on the Tunnel 5 fire across from Hood River. Elsewhere in southwest Washington may not be so lucky, and the heat will be a problem throughout our region.
