A large fire broke out at an industrial building in Salmon Creek, Washington early Wednesday morning. At least 7 businesses were destroyed, according to Clark County Fire District 6. Employees at the building reported seeing smoke coming from an upper-level window and hearing fire alarms going off. They evacuated the building and called 911. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. No one was hurt. The building, which is on Northeast 13th Court, is about 110,000 square feet, fire officials estimated. The Clark County Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
