Susan Schlesinger is getting plants ready for a big sale to benefit the Neighborhood House Food Pantry. "To not know sometimes where their next meal comes from. I hope this will help," she said. Ryan Schulberg is shopping for food for his family. "It means everything. We recently moved and I'm between jobs, and we have a house full of kids and animals," he said. This is the fourth year that Susan Schlesinger has sold plants to help her community. "I have over a hundred plants out here, so another 300 to 500 to go," she said. The plant sale runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 2-3. It's located at 4427 SW 44th Ave., Portland, Oregon.
