Description
Volunteer Karen March is greeting two happy sibling cats at the Cat Adoption Team.
"Just working on giving 'em some love," she said. They need a home."
This year is CAT's 25TH anniversary.
"We're super excited to be celebrating 25 years of sending cats and kittens home to folks. 60,000 is such a huge number," said Christi Brooks, director of operations.
Cindy Bowlsby is one of over 500 volunteers working on how to best get these cats ready for another home. Communications Manager Heather Miller knows the area.
"Portland people love they’re cats, so we're able to move cats from more rural areas where there are just fewer humans to adopt," she said.
Happy 25th, CAT!!
