Description
April 27, 2023 on The Story: Ambulance response times in the Portland metro area have been failing to meet the standard — and it's not just a problem in Multnomah County. Everyone seems to agree that the main problem is one of staffing shortages. But that's where Multnomah County stands apart. Unlike most other areas in the country, Multnomah County requires ambulances to be staffed by two highly-trained paramedics, not just one.
