Early this year, Absolute Painting asked for suggestions of people who could use some new paint. Owner Michael Hughes chose Mariah Taylor to receive the $5,000 free interior paint job. "She's always given to everybody. It's okay to receive. So it's nice that we can give something back to her." She’s a giving person who now gets to receive. "Getting a paint job that I could not afford. Neither could I have twisted anyone's arm to get, it's a blessing." Mariah delivers food and clothes to the homeless every week. Her house has not seen any new paint in over 30 years.
