March 6, 2023 on The Story: It's been a rough few years for students, teachers and parents. Between the move to remote learning during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and the shift back into classrooms, student mental health has suffered. Recently, KGW followed three counselors with Portland Public Schools at the elementary, middle and high school level.
