Description
Public Relations Specialist Chris Gaylord’s calendar idea shows off the work of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, with a catty twist. "I wanted to choose images that overall would kind of represent some diversity of what we do," he said. He made a calendar with cats to show off the Corps' Oregon and Southwest Washington projects. "Teach people about what we do," he added. "Do that in a way that's fun for folks." That means fun things like a Corps worker's cat floating on a dredge, or a cat using the Hills Creek Dam as a scratching post. The Corps calendar is a free digital download that you can print out here: https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p16021coll11/id/5869/rec/1 Next year’s calendar already in the planning, and this time it will include dogs.
