Description
March 2, 2023 on The Story: By late next year, the Oregon Department of Transportation expects to have its first in a series of tolling stations up and running, along I-205 around West Linn. But a new bill proposed in the Oregon legislature would put a halt to all that, blocking any new tolls on I-5 or I-205, with the exception of tolling on the I-5 Columbia River crossing. The bill is championed by lawmakers from the south end of the Portland metro area who feel that the tolls haven't been very well thought out, and will have negative consequences for their constituents.
