Description
In the SE Sellwood neighborhood, the Portland Puppet Museum is busy with folks making new puppets from old materials. Owner Steven Overton is a Master Puppeteer. "It is a 2nd chance. We will also sew this up so she doesn't have her guts coming out. Ah hah, Yeah. That'd be kind of icky."
The museum holds many events to encourage a love for puppets. Kira is a volunteer puppeteer. "Doing the puppet shows, it's fun cause you get to make kids happy and like, play around with puppets."
The themed displays change every 6 months. "I had 600 originally. Now I have over 2,600. We drift off to everything being serious. Bill paying. Work. Work. Work. And forget that sometimes we need to play."
