Hot Head Candles is a local business that’s making candles with familiar faces on them. Emery Markusen and her father Will first made them together on a Father/Daughter weekend. “It says Trump. Then we peel the silicone to the sides to get the candle out." The family duo has worked together on many other projects. They look like well-known judges, presidents and politicians that you may like, or maybe not so much. Will hopes the melting shapes are therapy. “You know hopefully in some way it provides a person with kind of sense of peace or relief." They’re also a bonding project of the two.
