Jan. 26, 2023 on The Story: After business leaders clamored for action from the city in November, Mayor Ted Wheeler announced Thursday that a "90-day reset" for the Central Eastside Industrial district is now underway. This means that the city will be clearing homeless camps, scrubbing graffiti and removing trash and abandoned cars. It's something that Portland tried last spring in Old Town that saw some results, if temporarily. And city leaders know, to some extent, how temporary it is. So where are the longer-term plans?
