Jan. 6, 2022 on The Story: Earlier this week, we looked at the pay-per-mile system that Oregon has been working on to replace the gas tax as more vehicles go electric. As we'll cover tonight, we can certainly expect there to be growing pains that accompany that system, but probably not enough to deter the switch. At the same time, there's evidence that there will be tolls to cross the Interstate 5 bridge that connects Vancouver and Portland — and not just the new bridge, but the current one.
