Description
We've been looking closely of late at the process for someone receiving involuntary mental health care. In both Oregon and Washington, it's a process that has been severely hampered, in large part because of a lack of capacity in the system. Washington state, at least, has made some strides by planning toward two new facilities. Construction on the Brockmann Campus in Clark County will begin in March or April of next year. It could be operational by winter of 2024.
