Nov. 11, 2022 on The Story: This morning saw the return of Portland's Veterans Day parade, and we were there speaking to spectators — many of them veterans themselves. We also spoke to Bud Millard, a World War II veteran living in Lake Oswego who shared memories of his life and military service. He's one of about 167,000 WWII veterans still living in the U.S., out of 16 million Americans who served in the war.
