Nov. 8, 2022 on The Story: This November, both Oregon and Washington have some highly-anticipated races on the ballot, which makes this Election Day night a big one. That said, it could be something of a let-down — election officials we spoke to said that they're seeing a lot of stragglers this year, which will probably delay any definitive results in the most hotly-contested races until tomorrow, later this week, or even weeks beyond. That's not beyond the pale by any means, but it does portend that we'll all have to manage our expectations for tonight.
