Nov. 7, 2022 on The Story: Races for the state legislature may be more exciting than some things on your ballot, but they're not exactly the hottest ticket items either. Here's something interesting to think about, though — Democrats currently hold a supermajority in the Oregon legislature, and that means they can do what they like to raise revenue (e.g. taxes). This election could see that supermajority slip away, and with it the power to unilaterally push through funding of Democratic priorities.
