Description
Friends of the Multnomah County Library is an organization advocating for and supporting the county’s 19 libraries. For the first time since 2019, they will be holding their much-anticipated book sale at the end of October at the Lloyd Center Doubletree.
FOL sort room director Jason Greene estimates over 65,000 books will be for sale, maybe for as little as $2, and children’s books for as little as $1.
The book sale will allow FOL to reclaim some of the space in their small sort room below the Albina Library in Northeast Portland. Once renovations are done to Central Library (801 SW 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97205) at the end of next year, FOL will have a permanent storefront.
